Description
This week, Swimmer Jackson chats to Constance Keane aka Fears. An awesome minimal indie-electronica artist who has just released her long-awaited debut album 'Oíche' (The Irish for Night).
Written from a place of great trauma it is hard to believe it has resulted in a record so soothing, rewarding and critically acclaimed. Connie is not afraid to speak up or speak out and she does both here. A warning that this episode may not be for everyone as we touch on themes of self-harm, being committed to a psychiatric facility and sustained trauma. That said Connie does speak with great hope, positivity and as someone who has overcome their worst fears(!) too. She is also in a feminist punk band called Mhaol and released this record on her own record label 'Tulle' which supports women and non-binary artists in the UK/Irish music scene.
