A Bit of Everything in conversation with Simon Locke Community Leader & Councillor Val Burgoyne of Emmaus the charity that helps formerly homeless people. Emmaus offers a home, work and companionship. Simon and Val bring us up to date on the progress of Emmaus House since Val and Fran first came on the show last August and the work of the companions and others in refurbishing the old council building. Also an interview with Tash Willcocks Course Leader from Salford University about the Bike Quays Project. The Quays, Greater Manchester’s waterfront destination, has collaborated with the University of Salford School of Arts & Media students to create the BIKE QUAYS project. Home to a host of iconic venues and attractions, both indoor and outdoor, The Quays has worked with the Graphic Design Department, at the University, to recycle and renovate six disused bikes to tell the story of The Quays – past, present and future. 12/6/14
