A Bit of Everything with Lola Lamour & A ME B. 26/2/2019

Ian Rothwell in conversation with singer Lola Lamour. Lola who performs in retro & vintage costumes is appearing at Thornton Manor on Mothers Day on 31st March where there is afternoon tea. Lola sings with her band 'the Blue Light Boys' whose sound is strictly authentic & typical of the era & her other band called 'Be Bop a Lola' who play songs from the 1950's & 60's. Lola also performs at 1940's & 50's themed events, private functions & for leisure hotels. Lola has picked some of her favourite theme tunes from classic TV shows of the 50's & 60's. Ian is joined in the studio by DJ & singer / songwriter A ME B who released her new EP 'Wide Awake' on 28th Nov & accompanying video in Jan. A ME B plays various types of House music and will be appearing at The Attic in Wigan on 29th March. A ME originally recorded Rap songs but has changed direction with her songs 'Familar' & 'Lonely People'. Also two songs 'City Beach' & 'Holler in the Hollows' from our Featured Artist Elfin Bow. 26/2/2019
