Ian Rothwell in conversation with retro style fashion icon Lola Lamour. Lola is appearing at Thornton Manor on Mothers Day on 11th March where there is afternoon tea. Lola sings with her band 'the Blue Light Boys'. This band's sound is strictly authentic and typical of the era. Influenced by artists such as Peggy Lee, Kay Starr, Ella Fitzgerald and Django Reinhardt Many of the songs are their own take on classic tunes. Lola also has a new band called 'Be Bop a Lola' who play songs from the 1950's & 60's. Lola also performs at 1940's and 50's themed events, private functions & for leisure hotels. There also two songs from SheedyFrost my Featured Artist for Feb and a song from Sailing Stones Jenny Lindfors who will be appearing at Gullivers on 8th March. Jenny has just released a new EP 'She's a Rose'. 27/2/2018
