Ian Rothwell in conversation with Hazel O'Keefe from Dulcet Sounds who organise and produce the 'Women In Comedy' Festival each year. This is the 5th year and takes place from 19th - 29th Oct and is Europes only comedy festival dedicated to gender equality. There are more than 50 acts taking place across 7 different venues in Manchester. The festival includes showcases, solo shows, funny women awards, open mic, workshops, a symposium and a writing competition. Katharine Ferns is also appearing at the festival and returns to tell us about her experiences at the GM Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and the 25 nights at the Vancouver Fringe. Also an interview with Mike Platt the Head teacher of St. Andrews C.E. Primary school in Boothstown. They have entered the M and S Annual Energy Fund to win votes for £12k for LED light bulbs. Rachel Hillary joins us to tell us about her music and what she has been doing since she a guest in 2014 and hear some of her songs from her compilation CD. 17/10/2017
