Ian Rothwell in conversation with Hayley Cartwright about the 'Fifty & Nifty' & 'Remembering Mavis' plays which are on at The Kings Arms on 6th July & 'Moston Miners' on 14th & 27th as part of The GM Fringe Festival. Also about her upcoming role as the first Woman Education Minister Ellen Wilkinson in 'Ellen's Longest Night' which is on at Central Library as part of The Peterloo Memorial event. Ellen was part of Atlee's 1945 Labour Government and she had a relentless commitment to social justice and female equality. Ian also speaks with Joanne Welch Campaign Director of Back to 60 about the Temporay Special Measure and CEDAW. In the studio are Steph Green Director, Terry & Dolores actors about the latest play 'The Salford Docker' from Salford Community Theatre. The play will be on at the Lighthouse building at Salford Quays on 8th - 13th July. 2/7/2019
