Ian Rothwell in conversation with Emily Oldfield the Editorial Assistant for 'I Love Manchester' and she interviews bands & attends gigs for 'Louder Than War'. It's also World Mental Health Day and Emily has written about inspiring people/organisations in Manchester like The Horsfall, a centre which works with a range of young people. She is thinking of working with Paul Hinks from Some Kind of Illness doing some spoken-word soundscapes about the mind. Emily will be a Media panellist at Indie Week Manchester at BIMM, she has interviewed Dave Graney and Clare Moore who were on at Fred's Ale House last week. Emily also talks about German Shepherd Records & upcoming gigs, This Feeling Manchester Red Rum Club + Generation & The Nix on 18 October at Jimmy’s NQ, Ten Eyed Man, Mutabase & Mark Corrin Live at Fuel Thurs Oct 19th, Boz Hayward 'show Artist of the Month' playing the whole of the Tennessee Ten album at The Eagle on November 1st & Positronik at AATMA on November 24th. 10/10/2017.
