Ian Rothwell in conversation with author David Gaffney about his inspiration for writing a Film Noir novel ''Out of The Dark''. David was brought up in West Cumbria & parts of the book are set in Whitehaven & St. Bees. He was a judge for Bridport in 2015 & his story The Staring Man was featured in Best Short Stories in 2016.
