Ian Rothwell in conversation with The Chief Executive of 'The Eve Appeal' Athena Lamnisos about the 'Get Lippy' campaign in May. This is to encourage the holding of virtual tea parties to raise awareness & to get people to talk about gynaecological cancers & there are many products on sale which raise funds for the Eve Appeal from lip balms to lipstick & getting people to send in photos pouting. Also a feature interview with Edwina Clare Molloy aka 'The Smiley Queen' about the setting up of 'The Smiley Queen Charitable Trust'. Edwina used to present her own show on Salford City Radio where she used to interview people from the local area. Her latest fund raising event is to have her hair coloured, platted & then cut.
