Ian Rothwell is joined by Ian Moss with a German Shepherd Records Special. It's a warm welcome back to Ian who with Bob Osborne runs the locally based label. Today you will hear a selection of the artists who release music on German Shepherd Records from Staggs, Four Candles, Moff Skellington, Prun X, Bouquet of Dead Crows, The Scissors, Umbrella Assassins & Inferior Complex. GS have released a single 'Wooden Huts' by The Parasite to raise funds for the Homelessnes charity 'Crisis'. This single aims to point out the tragedy of so many people having fun, food & booze at the Christmas Markets, in city centres like Manchester, whilst literally yards away less fortunate people are hungry sleeping rough in shop doorways in the damp and cold. The serious message behind the song is the plight of homeless people across the country & the need to raise awareness of their situation.
