Hardly can the industry find a fresh Pop/R&B sound from a young Asian male artist like Shimin. Born and raised in Vietnam in a family with a Chinese background, Shimin’s childhood was nurtured by his father’s Chinese tunes and Vietnamese pop songs. Along with Western music in his teenage years, a unique combination of music tastes has formed inside him. His upcoming debut album, From Home to Sydney, caught the attention of many Vietnamese fans overseas and young Vietnamese people who love Western music.
