Vocalist, composer and producer Emily Saunders joins Tina Edwards this week to chat about her new album Outsiders Insiders, released on 2nd March. With a Brazilian flavour, the album is already getting a huge amount of radio airplay across the country, with Jamie Cullum amongst lots others calling himself a fan of Emily's.
Tina plays tracks from Marcus Miller, Neil Cowley Trio, Brass Funkies, Tiny Beast and Laura Mvula. As well as the usual top 3 gig picks (listen to the show to find out what's going down live this week), Tina shares a few stories from the jazz world and general titter about her weekend. Oh, there's also an attempt at the infamous Alphabet Aerobics rap at the end of the show, too. Maybe skip over that bit.
