On tonight's show I take a look back on the oft forgotten Territory Bands that traveled across the American Backwoods during the 20's, 30's & 40's often working for poor wages but entertaining many a small town.
Social and technological changes finally saw them disappear in the 50's & they often left little or no recordings behind. Some survived and it is from these merge recordings that we glean an incite to a bygone age.....
