In a change to the scheduled show I featured tracks from the legendary John Kirby Sextet so styled the biggest little band in the land, featured my forthcoming mini series on the life & works of Louis Jordan co hosted my musical genius Simon "Fat Kat" Whiteside.
I also mourned the demise of Street Legend Deidre Barlow & Sun stalwart Page 3.
All mixed in with classic tracks from John Lee Hooker, King of Swing BG, Some rarities from Big Joe Turner and some saucy tracks from Cab Calloway, Dinah Washington, Winonnie Harris and many, many more.
