On today's show, I took a literary tour of London with some of the best events, book cafes, and top spots to read in the capital.
I discussed the upcoming London Literature Festival taking place at the Southbank Centre, the book cafe which provides you the opportunity to peruse the books while enjoying delicious, home-cooked food, and some of the most scenic spots to read outdoors. I also mentioned my favourite book accessories - which really was just me justifying why I need them!
I also chatted to Imogen, our resident Hoxton Radio reporter, about the all-important topic: e-reader Vs the physical book. Of course, we talked through the merits of both, as well as discussing other people's reading habits on the tube.
Interspersed throughout all this book-chat I played some of the best hits from the 80s and 90s; including, Yazz, Kylie and Madonna.
This show is a must-listen for all you lovers of the written word!
