This week’s Modern Age Music artist in focus was Asylums.
Libby sat down with frontman Luke Branch to talk about their latest album ‘Genetic Cabaret’ which came out on the 17th July via Cool Thing Records.
The band claimed the title as having this week’s Modern Age Music ‘Track Of The Week’ with ‘Who Writes Tomorrow’s Headlines?’
Libby and Luke discussed releasing music during a pandemic, why Luke co-founded his record label Cool Thing and how his Dad came about being on the front cover of the album (in the nude!!)
Plus Libby gave us a fix of the freshest tunes that fall under the genres of indie, rock, alternative and post-punk.
We heard music from Ian Skelly, Yard Act, Juanita Stein and Larry Pink The Human.
To round off this week Libby gave us a tribute to the late Chris Cornell and Peter Green.
