This weeks show I discussed the wondrous Field Day festival and it was sunny for the first time in years! Highlights were Aphex Twin (of course!), Fatima Yamaha, Joe Goddard and Flying Lotus.
There is a new Prince musical touring the UK in 2018, songs from the purple one entitled 'Purple Rain' directed by Gary Lloyd who is the man behind the Michael Jackson musical 'Thriller Live'.
In other music news the Bob Marley estate has been awarded 2.4 million dollars in damages from the Jammin Java coffee company.
Plus I talked about things to do in London this weekend, like the annual world naked bike ride on Saturday in its 14th year. Au Natural! Southport Weekender in Finsbury Park and the Poetry and Lyric festival is this weekend too.
And the Wine Car Boot Sale in Kings Cross..try and buy from London's best wine merchants and there's an aptly named stall called cheese and wine disco... what does that entail?? I'll be there,,,,:)
