We've been playing you make-believe soundtracks and 'what we woulda done' for yonks. This time it's for real, kinda. I've been lucky enough to be commissioning an actual soundtrack for a game, and i pulled together a playlist of inspiration for the composer.
So here it is; rough and ready but hopefully enough to give you a sense for the buttons we'll be pressing and the senses we'll stroke in pursuit of audio satisfaction alongside a VR game. OK, maybe it's not quite Zimmerman or Morricone, but it'll do for a first official bash. Featuring a load of bossa, samba and mambo, Rustie, The Cure (which is 100% not the vibe, but...) and Chilly Gonzales.
