Inspired and in homage to Stu's Dad turning 76 this week and learning new things such as coding, we've built a show paying tribute to late bloomers. That is, people who stuck with passions throughout their lives, often finding success not in 'youth'.
We've got music from the likes of Thelonious Monk, Blondie, Leonard Cohen, Melvina Reynolds, Betty LaVette, Ian Dury, William Onyeabor and Ali Farka Toure. We also chat through interesting theories on how undervalued older people are in society, and the pressures of early achievement.
