This week Helen brings you the comedy news that a defiant feline has become a Brockley celebrity, a welsh super mum has broken the marathon racing buggy record and Donald Trump branded humps are a thing...
Helen channels Joan Collins in #grannychic because January needs to be cosy and fabulous.
Equally fabulous is Helen's lady guest this week; spoken word poet Beth Norris who came to Britain at the age of 12 to balance out the gingers in the Harry Potter film. Seriously. Beth bigs up poets Kate Tempest and Carol Ann Duffy as women she admires and explains how poetry can empower kids in the classroom.
Beth tells some colourful stories about her experiences working with children and what it's like to participate in slam poetry competitions. She performs an epic personal and political poem on Facebook and a poetic homage Kim Kardishan. Come see her perform some poetry on gender politics at Congress House on February 22nd.
