Helen's show this week is crammed with joyous shout outs for the National Youth Theatre rep season at the Ambassadors Theatre, poorly actor Emily Berrington and the return of London's EFG Jazz festival.
Helen discusses that anti-climatic John Lewis Christmas advert feeling and the advert's various parodies. She brings you the comedy news that a sculpture of the queen looks like Tom Hanks (awks), Welsh parking wardens are too nice and yew are never too old for a sex changed tree!
Helen's special guest this week is Ann Beatty who is the executive manager of Steve Sinnott Foundation. Ann discusses how the charity empowers teachers and champions education for all in places such as Uganda and Haiti. Ann Beatty tells Helen about being nominated to be an Olympic torch-bearer in recognition for her pioneering charity work and setting up a girl's safe house in Maronka, Sierra Leone.
