Our special guest this week is Katy Swarbrick from the Regent Street Cinema, which recently reopened its doors after over 30 years. Described as the birthplace of British Cinema, The Regent Street Cinema is one of the oldest cinema’s in London and Niki chats to Katy about the history of the cinema and why it has reopened again after so many years.
This week’s soundtrack of the week comes from Sam Mendes’ brilliant drama American Beauty. Release in 1999 and starring Kevin Spacey this film looks at life in the suburbs and how its not all its cracked up to be, with everyone hiding their secrets behind a facade of happy families.
