Ana Her was joined by Leo from Grimeborn, the most out-there opera festival in town. From now until 7th September, Arcola Theatre in Dalston will be awash with 16 attitude-packed productions, all pushing the boundaries of conventional opera as we know it.
Expect the unexpected as the festival will be serving up bold new versions of classic operas, rarely-seen and long-forgotten works, as well as brand new work from some of the most exciting up-and-coming opera artists. This year’s daring programme includes a vivd re-interpretation of Mozart's Don Giovanni through a queer lens and a thrilling new take on Wagner's Das Rheingold.
