Today Yaz kicks off her brand new monthly ‘Artist Spotlight’ series in collaboration with “Sofar Sounds”, with an interview with STORRY.
STORRY is a two-time JUNO-nominated singer- songwriter, visual artist, and advocate known for her genre-blending sound and powerful lyrics.
To name a few highlights, she was a finalist on The Voice UK 2024 with Will.i.am, she has supported Sting & Tom Jones, she was honoured at Women in Music 2023, opened for Liz Wright at the Barbican, and collaborated with Stormzy and Burna Boy. Her tracks explore themes of empowerment and resilience and through her music she beautifully tells a story, her story.
