OKN1 Manager Giuseppe Pantalone joined us to talk about students in Hospitality and their menu. Inspired by European cuisine, the OKN1 menu includes typical dishes from the likes of Italy and other European countries. The young restaurant belongs to New City College Hackney, where their students come in to work through all departments of the restaurant.
Also, Andy from Alter LDN came in to discuss a deliciously tasty vegan menu ahead of their next event, which is a pop up in Frog Hoxton on 22nd October. The idea was born out of Andy's interest in travel and draws inspo from the East of the world's approach to vegan food. A self-proclaimed "exploration of vegan food", the menu has featured dishes like Thai Beach Bites with watermelon, Japanese Tropical Pickles, and Oyster Mushroom Ramen.
