Head chef Aarik Persaud from Heritage Restaurant the modern Swiss restaurant in Soho was today's first studio guest. Reaching beyond raclette, fondue and rösti Heritage extends the tradition of Swiss cooking with refined techniques, barbecuing prime cuts of meat and fresh seafood on table-top Charbonnade grills using the finest British produce from the UK’s leading suppliers.
Friends of Hoxton Radio, the team from Harlem Soul were next to drop in. Group executive chef, Joe Plowman, told us all about his favourites on the menu, including the vegan Sassy Jax burger featuring jack fruit patties with Brooklyn sassy sauce and the mega Harlem Soul consisting of grilled beef patties, shredded short rib, American mac & cheese, house pickle & thousand island dressing all crammed into a toasted brioche bun.
