t was a hot, humid and hoppy day in the studio today as Jordan and Dave chatted to guests from two local brewers.
First up we had Ian Stewart from the Brick Brewery. Ian told us about the origins of the brewery from home brew kit in a Peckham garden shed to production brewery and production kitchen below Peckham Rye station. Head down to Peckham this coming Saturday to enjoy Brick’s freshest sour beers.
We then had Felix from the Small Beer Brew Company. Felix and business partner James opened their brewery in Bermondsey which specialises in lower alcohol beer – their beverages average 2% alcohol content, so an ideal refresher for these hot summer days. The Small Beer Brew Co. has just launched their Session Pale Ale in the can which can be purchased from eebria or, if you’re local, drop into the Kings Stores in Widegate Street to sample the full range of their ales.
