As the rain and wind battered against the window of our funky new studio, I once again set about playing a soundtrack for your weekend.
Actually, this week's show had more oomph, musically. Shura's Indecision will make you wanna go to XOYO with it's Holiday vibe. My favourite tune out right now is Off Peak Dreams by Ghostpoet and yeah... you can dance to that as well.
Aquilo, Hozier and Aqualung (featuring Lianne La Havas) provided some lush mellow moments.
Hackney Picturehouse won The Saturday Late Night Fight. Their midnight movie was The Long Goodbye from 1973.
And Rob Oxley (a travel information person) won Tweet Of The Week with his office's Animals On The Road chart, with horses in the lead. It has little drawings of animals amongst the data and it made me smile.
He narrowly beat the Street Feast (Hawker House) tweet pic of smokestacular brisket and St Louis cut ribs. It was food porn, basically.
