It was a theatrical Pop-Up this week as Bill welcomed Kate Kendrick and Kaitlin Gould from Dalston's Arcola Theatre. They're appearing in Tennessee Williams' steamy play Spring Storm next week for three performances. What they WEREN'T expecting was to take part in a Judi Dench acting face/off! Two scenes from Bond films to test their acting mettle! AND they had to judge Tweet Of The Week.
The Pop-Up playlist featured more new gems, notably: Marcus Marr and Chet Faker with Birthday Card, little bit trancy , X Ambassadors with Renegades and the mysterious Mas Ysa with his phenomenal track Arrows.
And the show bigged up The Courtyard's latest production Coverage, placing the Julius Caesar drama in the present day. More drama and great music and guests next Saturday from 4 o' clock on Hoxton Radio, (hopefully with producer Nate, bad back permitting!)
