Another great guest popped in this week: singer/songwriter Arthur Lee. He didn't need any instruments, it was all acapella and using his hands and feet with thankfully minimal accompaniment from me. Arthur also told us about the Smile Acoustic night on Sunday at Rich Mix on the Bethnal Green Road.
As usual, there was music a plenty , with new tunes from Ghostpoet, Indiana, and Blur (!), with Pop-Up favourites Jhene Aiko, Hozier and Aqualung. The Rio, Dalston won the Saturday Late Night Fight thanks to Jack Nicholson. Come on, The Shining! There was no contest.
