After last week's Nate Maingard live session, it was back to normal. That means two hours stuffed with new laidback tunes of the electronica variety.
It's mostly planned but sometimes there's an immediate brainwave. When I played Everything Everything's banger Regret Regret, I had to follow it with ....Lulu!
This week's "studio arrival" tune (the song that was playing when I arrived!) was Feel by Big Star from 1972. This brill Led Zep soundalike was my showstopper.
The Rio was the top cinema with their midnight screening of the original Terminator from 1984.
