There was a new music explosion on the Pop-Up this week. New tunes from L.A Priest (pronounced lar, just saying), Breakage (feat Liam Bailey), J.Cole, 21 year old Eastender Denai Moore (who could give Jhene Aiko a run for her money) and ex Razorlight man Andy Burrows with his lush song Hometown. There were vintage gems from Paul Simon and Steely Dan.
Tweet Of The Week came from...er....James Blunt. "I'm giving up music for Lent. There is a god!" Lovely bit of self deprecation.
Hoxton Movies Extra: The Saturday Late Night Fight was won by the Hackney Picturehouse. They showed the Coen Brothers' Fargo. Nuff said. Apart from that, I was blown away by Inherent Vice. Joaquin Phoenix is The Man.
