The Pop-Up Show hit the air again on Saturday afternoon from a tastefully decorated studio! I'm loving the red, blue and green tinsel, with little decorations hanging from them. It creates a nice ambience, just like my show (groan!)
I kicked off with possibly the Single Of The Year, My City by Bodhi and George The Poet. Film Of The Week was Bladerunner at the Hackney Picturehouse, an absolutely flippin awesome film.
Tweet Of The Week was awarded to travel broadcaster Chris Golds and his canapé café! It trumped Jordan Smith's cereal café, I'm afraid.
I have to say I loved my jazzy strand, influenced by Tina's Jazz Standard show, including an amazing cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus by HQ. And Julie London Fly Me To The Moon, from the M+S tv ad.
Listen again, it's all lovely music and I'll catch you live on Hoxton Radio next Saturday from 4, by which time I would have finished all my Christmas shopping. With help from the fairies (I wish!)
