At 4.30, Hoxton Movies Xtra and for me, it's all about 2 films at the moment: "Maps To The Stars" which I saw at The Rio and "Gone Girl" which I'm going to see this week and will no doubt rave about on next Saturday's Pop-Up.
Two new tracks mixed nicely, I thought: Mansionair's "Hold Me Down" and Sohn with "The Chase".
There was a kitch (or quiche) moment with Cilla Black "Step Inside Love" (love the jazzy guitar in the verse).
Other vintage tracks included Tom Petty, Kate Bush and The Verve.
And there's Tweet Of The Week. I kinda cracked up with runner-up Conor Shanley and his William Shatner tweet. But the winner was Sinead Harnett who was rewarded with a play of her single "No Other Way". She tweeted about "communicating with people on the street instead of using maps. Good times I tell ya!"
Good times indeed, Sinead. Listen again and get more of them live next Saturday from 4 on Hoxton Radio.
