Once again, in honor of Black History Month, I have taken the deep-dive into my record collection to bring to you some incredible music. This time around it's Soul and Funk tunes from the early Seventies! Years ago I used to spend a lot of time traveling around to various thrift stores when 45 rpm records were ripe at those places. I'd spend hours digging through stacks of seven-inches picking up anything that looked like it might sound good. Between thrifting and my various stints at local record stores I ended up with quite a few of them. I've once again dug through many of them and selected some of my faves representing the years 1970 to 1975. You'll hear a few somewhat more recognizable tunes spun along side more obscure ones. Yes, it's 2 hours of soulful, funky songs to move you and groove you!
