Perhaps one gets desensitized with age to all of the bitter layers, in order to uncover all of the sweetness - like a fine old whiskey, slowly aged and waiting for your taste. This, I believe, Peter Van Cooten understands the most, with his latest Headphone Commute offering, titled Perception Management. The concept behind this mix also challenges your view of the world. The inspiration for this particular mix came from Adam Curtis' BBC documentary "Hypernormalisation".
