And here we are, at the end of another year. It’s hard to imagine that yet another planetary rotation has completed its course, but it’s better to know that it was with this music. So much experienced, so much accomplished, and never enough. We now have only memories, recorded with a timestamp, a bit like this sonic journey. For the fifth year in a row, Mike Jedlicka of Optic Echo compiles his selection of favorite releases in this vinyl-only mix, matching many of my own choices for best of the year contenders. So without further ado, we take one last look at all that has past and bit it farewell.
