So this mix is all about soulful sounds and chilled out vibes. Neo Soul is what it would be described as. A more stripped back and relaxed form of RNB, Neo Soul goes back to the late 80’s but really came to prominence in the mid 90’s with the like of Erykah Badu and D’Angelo. The beats are a bit more laid back with a more jazzy and funky element than RnB and that’s why I love the sound.
