YYDJ is one of the music identities of YY, a sound and visual artist based in Milan, Italy. Merging harsh and oversaturated soundscapes with more percussive and rhythmical elements, her mixes function as a depiction of her musical practices, both as YYDJ or through her live project Y.Y.Y.Y.. Following her approach to sound experimentation, she co-founded the label and event series ‘Self Repair’ (@self__repair). This mix consists of a diverse selection of tracks, ranging from musical improvisation to distorted noise textures, sounds she draws inspiration from during her live performances
