Hailing from Upstate NY and now based in Manchester iamkyami is a music producer, artist and content creator putting authenticity, identity and heritage at the forefront of their practice. After moving to the UK in 2017, Ky was named one of the Top 3 Liverpool International Music Festival Academy artists (2018-2019) and since then has gone on to release records supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing North West and more.
Playing shows across the UK, Ky has shown versatility in the artists they have supported including Tank and the Bangas, Zuzu, Yasmin Lacey, Pizzagirl, Roy Ayers and a plentiful amount of festival slots too. 2022 saw the release of a self-produced EP titled The Kenny Klubhouse and a place in the heart of Pinterest as one of their first UK Creator Fund recipients. Ky’s talent ranges from music studio to TV with collaborations with Primark, New Balance, Lush Cosmetics, Dr Martens, Teletubbies, Ellesse, UK Black Ballad, Culture Liverpool and more.
