YUNJIN is a Berlin-based musician, producer, and DJ. Born in South Korea, her family immigrated to Canada when she was young, where she studied jazz piano at Humber College in Toronto. A beloved collaborator in the Toronto music community, her iconic, sparkly touch on synthesizers and piano can be found in jazz, free-improv, folk, pop, contemporary classical, and electronic music projects from Canada. This results in bringing together unexpected tracks one after another in her DJ sets, weaving through melodies and percussive textures. When she started DJing in 2022, she began organizing event series in Toronto, such as "Hit Play" and "Rogue Waves," to connect and showcase musicians and DJs. Yunjin's love of electronic music brought her to Berlin last year, where she continues to deep dive into the genre and seep into the music communities abroad.
