Just finished a class in CPR. When you save the lives of 7 people-like mannequins in a day, you begin to feel there is nothing you can't do. Certainly in the realm of rubbery vinyl and plastic, at the very least. However, I am quietly but fully freaked out about Ukraine, however. I dream of instituting a generalized formula to decide on an action, where the criteria would primarily be based on the extent to which the action furthers the interests of generosity and kindness. Or, as Christ used to call it, before he was edited, "love." Take that, Putin! Take that, Supreme Court!
