G-SHOCK Radio Presents... RONI SIZE - 'The Deepest Underground Rave - 1375ft' - 15/10

A chance to listen back to History in the making,

“The Worlds Deepest Underground Rave!”, 1,375 feet below the ground at Cwmorthin Slate Mine in Eryri, North Wales.

The most underground of underground raves ever!

Plus a potential World Record

One of the most unique musical recordings produced as During the set, vibration transducers sent elements of the music directly into the surrounding slate.

Geophones and hydrophones then captured what travelled through the rock, water and mud, bringing Cwmorthin's acoustic and geological response back into the performance

The result is a set shaped by the mountain and the mine itself, rather than simply played inside it - drum and bass moving through a signal chain made from stone, water, engineering and the crowd.

The finished performance is what you can now experience from the comfort of your own homes
