We honor the legendary Cymande in Show #715 through samples. Digging the 1972 track “Bra” we get into artists which used the cut in their production, including Busy Bee, Def Jef, Gang Starr, and De La Soul. Rounding off the show is a cinematic jazz set followed by downtempo beats.
Additional artists include: 45 King, Andy Caldwell vs. Darkhorse, Dela, DJ Chuck Chillout & Kool Chip, DJ Kool, DJ Spinna, Freddie Hubbard, Bobbi Humphrey, Method Man & Redman, Lalo Schifrin, and David T. Walker.
New shows every Friday at 5:15am Eastern Time - Next week DJ Unknown
