We go lighter on the funk but heavier on the Golden Era hip hop in Show #69. We also world-premier a track from the Bedroom Plumber D.A. Jay, & keep the Jamaican vibe going with a mini ragga set.
The original B-Boy-staple “Super Sporm” by Captain Sky is the Crate Highlight and we detail a few tracks that sampled it, including BDP and Public Enemy.
Other selections include:, Mad Lion, Juvenile Committee, Raekwon, Tuff Crew, Johnny Hammond, Kool & The Gang, and David Axelrod.
