Description
It’s all about the mathematics in Show #64. Funky Corners times two. 247 minutes long, 62 tracks, 3 Wu-Tang songs, 2 artist tributes, 1 food-rap block. In this extendo-episode, we acknowledge the passing of jazz great Donald Byrd, as well as hardcore rapper Tim Dog and intersperse their tracks throughout the program.
Crate Highlight #1 is a breakdown of the samples used in Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth’s “Straighten It Out”. For Crate Highlight #2, we do the same with Tim Dog’s “F**k Compton.”
Other selections include: Brass Construction, The Budos Band, Funk Inc., The Temptations, Ammoncontact, Cru, Das EFX, Raw Breed, Redman, and T_Wheels’ favorite Special Ed track.
