It’s been a year since The Overweight Lover’s passing, so in Show #53, we drop a 20 minute set in honor of Heavy D. We also spin more funk than usual in this episode, as we keep things extra-upbeat and vivacious.
One original track, one track that sampled it. We play the song that was used to create “Warm It Up, Kane” in this show’s Crate Highlight.
Other selections include: Maestro Fresh Wes, Keith Murray, Sugar Bear, Burning Desire, Cymande, The Soulful Strings, and Bonobo.
