Description
Funky Corners has managed to stay on the air for five years! It’s the anniversary program, and in keeping with tradition & history, the show features strictly vinyl recordings. Distinguished musicologist, record enthusiast, and all-around great guy DJ Kid Charlemagne contributes a half hour set featuring gems from the Cratebeats Radio vaults.
We pair The Sweet Inspirations with Raekwon to deliver this week’s Crate Highlight.
Selections include: Boogie Down Productions, Capital Tax, Capleton, Common Sense, Dana Dane, Headhunters, Eddie Henderson, Ice-T, Ill Al Skratch, Ini Kamoze, Keem-O-Sabe, John Klemmer, Mass Production, Naughty By Nature, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Questionmark Asylum, Secret Weapon, Tom Scott, Dexter Wansel, Tony Williams, Wreckx ’N’ Effect, and Steely Dan.
