Mashitup! No extended genre sets on Funky Corners 237. It’s old school rap, funk, instrumentals, and new releases jumbled up throughout.
The Crate Highlight is still in the right spot, and features the Ann Peebles hit “I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down.” We’ve got five tracks which sampled it.
Selections include: 2Pac, 3rd Bass, Antionette, Arkives, B-Flatt, Erykah Badu, Blackbyrds, Chuck Cross, De La Soul, Flexxip, Gramatik, Impuls, K.I.Z, Kool Moe Dee, Nujabes, Orgone, Alice Russell, Marlena Shaw, Sunz Of Man, Armanand Van Helden, Bobby Womack, and Rawberry.
