Description
Show 235 is a cosmic mix of spaced out jazz, instrumental beats and moody soul. A half-hour of classic rap prevents a complete exit from the Funky Corners stratosphere.
More a vocal snippet than anything, we dig up three rap tracks which sampled The Pazant Brothers’ 1975 song “A Gritty Nitty.”
Selections include: 2ruff, Nat Adderley, Arabian Prince, The Beatnuts, Matthew Cassell, Cymande, William DeVaughn, Ramsey Lewis, MC Shan, The Milky Bar Kid, The Pharcyde, Super Lover Cee & Casanova Rud, Terminator X, Transient, Weather Report, and Madslo.
